About ER Outdoors

ER Outdoors is run by Eluned (Lun) Roberts.

Lun is a qualified teacher with over 40 years' experience of designing and delivering outdoor learning opportunities to people of all ages from infants to retirees including those with Special Educational Needs. Her areas of expertise include fieldwork, learning through adventure, management training, Mountain Leader Award and Rock Climbing Instructor training and assessment courses, and running facilitation and environmental training courses for outdoor practitioners.

Developing people is important to her and she has extensive experience of training, assessing, mentoring and coaching outdoor instrucors. This includes mentoring Bangor University students, working on Outdoor NGB training and assessment courses, and working as a coach and assessor for the Institute for Outdoor Learning. Between 2009 and 2012 she ran the Institute's Registered Practitioner (RPIOL) and Accredited Practitioner (APIOL) award schemes. Another passion is helping people feel connected to the environment and helping outdoor providers look after their very special 'office'.
